Can a student use Till App?

Yes, if you’re a student or parent and like your child to have access to Till App then please use the student registration code included in your initial email from the school or cater. They can issue additional registration codes for other children at the school. 

When they first registering on Till App please select ‘student’ and follow the registration steps.

Can I see an account balance?

Yes, Till App display’s the current balance for you or your child. If they are eligible for Free School Meals you’ll see this as a separate balance figure which show’s you how much they have available to spend on any single day.

This is useful to understand if you’re under or overspending on the daily credit given by the school or caterer.

Can I setup spending alerts?

Yes, in the Till App notifications menu you can select options to setup custom alerts on upper and lower spending limits. Alerts can be set for daily, weekly, bi-weekly and monthly options.

This is a very useful tool to ensure a child is taking advantage of their free school meal allocation or to monitor a child who is over using their allocated budget.

Is support available with Till App?

One of the team will be happy to help. If it’s more appropriate that you speak to your school or caterer we’ll sign-post you in the right direction.

What if I have an account query?

Any queries relating to payment and sales transactions should be directed to the school or caterer. They will be able to access the back-office system which holds information of all sales, income and expenditure transactions relating to your account as well as holding the master balance.

Can I stop a connection to Till App?

Yes, should the need arise the school or caterer is able to sever a data connection between a Till App account and the back-office of the catering system.

You will need to contact the school directly to request this as they may require further information from you in order to action this.

How often does the data sync?

Till App synchronises data from multiple systems. Some system syncs are faster than others but as a general rule we try to keep all systems in-line within a 24 hour window. 

If there is ever any doubt about the syncronisation of data between systems please be assured that the school or caterers back-office holds the master records and balances.
